Jewellery can say so much about you and it can certainly make or break your whole appearance.
It’s not only women who wear jewellery nowadays. Men’s jewellery seems to be just as important in today’s society. I still find it strange that men are wearing jewellery, and wearing it so well.At this rate it isn’t going to be long before they out do us women in the fashion world.
There are quite a few male stars who really make their jewellery work for them.
David Beckham is known to us all for his ever changing fashion sense. He always seems to combine his jewellery with his look and does it superbly. It’s not unusual to see Mr Beckham wearing silver necklaces and silver rings. Even though he sometimes comes across as a bit effeminate, it doesn’t seem to bother him, so why should we mind?
Russell Brand is another cool male who wears a lot of jewellery. He has such a unique style all of his own which really works well for him. I wonder if his style will change now that he has just got engaged to American singer Katy Perry. I wonder if she will try to have a go at taming his personality and outrageous image - I shouldn’t think for one moment she will be successful.
My favourite male who wears his jewellery well is Johnny Depp. It doesn’t seem to matter what he wears, how he wears it, what sort of style he is following, he always looks great. He has such a wonderful presence about him, that would be difficult to duplicate. I cannot imagine a male looking better than our Johnny and I am sure all you ladies will agree.
At the other end of the spectrum you have the male celebrities who wear all this huge chunky rapper looking jewellery. I think it looks ugly and stupid and it must weigh a tonne. My daughter can’t get enough of ‘Chipmunk’ at the moment. I thought she meant Alvin and the Chipmunks, but no I am out of date and she was talking about the new young rapper. The style this young lad follows says it all about what is wrong with society today. If this is the future of England, then God Help Each And Every One Of Us.
